Die Setter / Blow Moulding – Manufacturing in Loganholme

Labourpower are currently seeking experienced Die Setters / Machine Operators with strong Plastic Manufacturing and Blow Moulding experience for a busy manufacturing facility based in Loganholme, QLD.

This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment, focusing on machine set-ups, die changes, troubleshooting, and maintaining efficient production output.

This opportunity suits candidates with previous experience in plastics manufacturing, particularly blow moulding, who are mechanically minded and confident working with machinery and tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and changing dies on manufacturing machinery
• Machine start-ups, shutdowns and product changeovers
• Monitoring machine performance and production quality
• Troubleshooting machine and production issues
• Performing basic machine maintenance and adjustments
• Ensuring all quality and safety procedures are followed
• Completing production and maintenance documentation
• Assisting with colour changes and production line setup
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams

About You

• Significant experience in plastic manufacturing and blow moulding
• Previous experience in die setting on blow moulding or extrusion equipment
• Mechanically minded with strong troubleshooting ability
• Forklift Licence required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Basic computer skills and good communication
